Phthalic anhydride is one of the most important organic chemical raw materials.
Its main derivatives are dibutyl phthalate, dioctyl and diisobutyl, etc., which are used as plasticizers for PVC, etc.; it can also be used in the production of Saturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, dyes and pigments, various paints, food additives, laxative phenolphthalein in medicine, imophos, bentazone and sodium saccharin in pesticides, etc.
Packing, Storage and Transportation:
It should be packed in woven bag with the net weight of 2 5 kg/ bag or 500kg/bag
It is inflammable, so it must be stored in a cool and well- ventilated place. It must be
dealt with in the same way as inflammable chemical products.
Handling：
Wear personal protective equipment/face protection. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on
clothing. Use only under a chemical fume hood. Do not breathe dust. Do not ingest. If
swallowed then seek immediate medical assistance.
